Today we launch CLAY reglaze, a special ceramics series and collaboration between Cor Unum, Claudy Jongstra and Farm of the World.
Claudy Jongstra designed together with ceramics studio Cor Unum a special edition of the Reglaze series CLAY for Farm of the World. The series is based on the colours Jongstra uses in her work, made out of natural dyes like onion skin, walnut and indigo. CLAY is handmade and sustainable and consists of various plates, bowls, cups and small jugs.
Sustainable and socially conscious
The series is made from re-used clay and glazing waste and is being handmade by people with a distance to the labor market. Charlotte Landsheer, designer and director of Cor Unum, designed the basis, inspired on classical design of Cor Unum: basic, timeless and stackable. The dishware is in use by famous chefs Sergio Herman (The Jane) and Dan Barber (Blue Hill Farm).
CLAY reglaze is the result of a special collaboration between three organisations who work along the lines of social entrepreneurship: Cor Unum, Studio Claudy Jongstra and Farm of the World.
CLAY reglaze is available from 8 April via the webshop of Cor Unum (www.corunum-ceramics.nl) and at design and museum shops. For more information, please write an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
