The Kreake is situated on clay soil. For centuries, the clay has been an important other product of the local and regional economy.
Together with Cor Unum we developed a series of handmade, artisanal Farm of the World-ceramics called CLAY reglaze. The colours used for this special ceramics line are based on the ones Claudy Jongstra uses in her work, made from natural dye crops like onion skin, walnut and indigo. Produced by social enterprise Cor Unum from ceramic leftovers, CLAY reglaze is not only beautiful, but sustainable and socially responsible as well. The line is handmade and sustainable and varies from plates, bowls, cups and jugs.
CLAY reglaze is sold on the website of Cor Unum and exclusive design-, museum- and tableware-shops. For special editions and questions, please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org.
