The physical space surrounding the Kreake represents mental space that is hard to come by for certain groups in our society: unprivileged youth, for example, especially in the cities. Treasures of Nature offers these youngsters an opportunity to learn skills and gain a goal in life. They will learn all the different skills in maintaining the vegetable- and flowergardens together with international art and design-students from Studio Claudy Jongstra, gardeners and volunteers.

This year offers them the opportunity to experience the cycle of nature, to discover their own talents and develop their capabilities in a safe and inspiring environment. They will be introduced to disciplines like art, biodynaminic agriculture, ceramics and food. The goal is to work towards a longterm and achievable perspective for their future.
